Jaycees head and town plan meetings amid tax debate
Roger W. Shaver was elected president of the Nedrow Jaycees as meetings announced at 8 pm in the Sentinel Heights firehouse to discuss a proposed county tax rate increase. The election followed a lengthy discussion of equal value versus assessment rates for property tax. Separately, Le Moyne College graduates heard Father Borgognoni urge devotion to spiritual values amid secularism, noting large fund drives that built Le Moyne with sacrifices from local people.
