Flash floods linger in Texas as downpours persist
United Press International reports continued heavy showers and thundershowers across Texas triggering flash flood advisories. About half a foot of rain drenched parts of south Texas causing floods in dozens of counties south of San Antonio and prompting campground evacuations at Big Bend National Park. North central Texas also saw heavy rains closing many low-lying farm to market roads and forcing creeks from their banks.
