SU student falls to death from Winchell Hall fire escape
Syracuse University student Peter W. Green, 18, of Honolulu and Sadler Hall 1000 Irving Ave, plunged about 45 feet from a fourth floor fire escape at Winchell Hall during a water gun dispute with his girlfriend. Police said the fire escape was wet and slippery as he stepped from the landing onto a lower ladder. He died at Crange Irving Memorial Hospital.
