New York State Fair Opens With 10 Day Run
The 135th New York State Fair begins at 10 a.m. tomorrow with big-name acts at the paid grandstand and free Empire Court. A hot air balloon race from Syracuse to Albany is set for 5 p.m. tomorrow. Gate tickets are $3 with potential $1 savings if bought at Ticketron outlets before closing. Grandstand ticketholders avoid extra entrance fees and ample parking is available though traffic limits will apply after 30 a.m.
