Orange signs to slow traffic as I-5 widening nears
Orange County officials and Caltrans plan 55 mph advisory signs along I-5 in San Juan Capistrano during a $230 million widening. The outlet mall nearby opens next week. Plans include longer green signals at exits Avenida Vista Hermosa and Pico to ease off ramp flow and potential use of the shoulder as a second travel lane.
