Chasm widens in hilltop church parking lot
St Andrew's by the Sea United Methodist Church in San Clemente reports a growing parking lot collapse since 2017, with about 55 spaces lost and 25 percent of the lot eroded. Officials cite an ancient landslide and say Caltrans and OCTA are involved, while heavy rains are considered a factor.
