San Clemente marks 90 years since incorporation
City and Historical Society pull out all the stops to celebrate San Clemente Day. The event recalls the Sea Shore Café once home to chicken, seafood, and jumbo shrimp along Highway 101. Across Avenida Del Mar stood founder Ole Hanson’s office in 1926, later housing the Bank, a liquor store, a travel agency, and a Baskin Robbins as the town grew.
