Centennial Air in State Fair Centenary Spectacle Planned
Indiana state fair the week of September 4 will feature a centennial spectacle each evening and a fireworks display to celebrate 100 years. Exhibits will show farm machinery evolution and highlight Indiana’s agricultural and livestock progress, with extensive educational features for farm audiences. There will be no night horse show, but day horse shows gain prominence as premiums totaling over 35 thousand dollars accompany cattle, sheep, swine, poultry, and other divisions.
