Leonard Pyles aged 60 died last Wednesday at his Terre Haute home after a long illness. His remains were buried at Center Ridge cemetery after funeral services here. Survived by his wife two brothers Charles and William Pyles and sister Mrs Nannie Ballew all of Sullivan. He belonged to the Methodist church and worked as a hardware clerk for John Davis Sons later as an undertaker with McKinley and McBride and for years ran a grocery business in the north part of the city.
