Miss Yung and Gage county officers visited the local school Tuesday. Next Tuesday a town school day will feature a fair at Fairbury with a pageant or drill. Steele City plans a flag drill. Primary Miss Deems class counts include first 9 second 7. Sethh- 4. sixth grade 8. sixth 7. Miss Albright 16. A birthday surprise for Mrs Bridwell and Mrs H S Friday of Beatrice drew 23 guests. Out of town guests included Mr and Mrs Friday and others from Beatrice, Fairbury, Lincoln. departures wished the Friday couple many happy returns.
