Juniors Host Banquet For Seniors At Rosemry Coffee Shoppe
The Junior-Senior banquet was held Friday April 30 at 7 pm at the Ros emary Coffee Shoppe in Fairbury. Covers were arranged for twenty one with brown and gold decor. Toasts included Mildred Kasparek as toast mistress and comments from Mildred Wallace Beulah Drake Lila McDonald and Miss Spangler. The Women’s club then hosted their husbands at the Case sell-home Tuesday evening with a musical program and light refreshments for about forty five guests.

Girl Reserves Meet At Steele City YWCA Conference
The Spring Conference of the Girl Reserves of the YWCA for Gage and Jefferson counties was held in Steele City on May 7. Delegations from Fairbury Beatrice Wymore Endicott and others attended with 8 to 35 girls each. Activities included breakfast, a morning program, a lunch and a hike with a campfire supper and ceremony.
