Andrews Reunion Highlights Family Gathering at Home

The Andrews family held a two week reunion at Mr. and Mrs. Chas. C. Andrews home. Relatives attended from Long Island New York Chicago Berwyn and Diller Nebraska. Plans include trips to James Peak near Denver and future teaching and editorial positions in Steamboat Springs Denver and elsewhere.

Doctor Newton Dies During Colorado Trip

Dr. George H. Newton eye ear nose throat specialist of Fairbury Nebr died in Greeley Colorado after an appendicitis operation while on a family trip. He was buried in Fairbury Sunday June 24. He leaves a wife and two children after 15 years in Fairbury. He was 50.

Zion Lutheran Church Picnic Planned Near State Line

The annual Zion Lutheran church picnic will be held next Sunday July 1 fifty miles southeast of Steele City near the state line. All are cordially invited. Rev. Paul Raschke.

First Presbyterian Church announces weekly schedule and events

The church lists services and activities led by Pastor John E. Filinger with Sunday school at 10 a.m. and church service at 11 a.m. Evening preaching at 8 p.m. The Daily Vacation Bible School closes with strong attendance and forty diplomas awarded.
