Unidentified man found on the banks of the Little Blue south of Fairbury with throat cut ear to ear and head wounds. A razor was found nearby. A one legged man, James Ryan of Grand Island, was arrested nearby and held on suspicion. He alleges three tramps attacked him, and says robbers took his money.

Fatal Auto Accident Near Odell
Mrs. Chas. Hinds wife of an Odell banker died Tuesday night when the new Buick she drove rolled over several times on the road north of Odell. She suffered a broken back and internal injuries. Her daughter Lucille was hurt but not seriously. The two were taken to Beatrice hospital.

Doc Sheldon Davis was badly hurt Friday afternoon when a large lump of clay fell at the clay pit north of town. He suffered three broken ribs a broken collar bone and a dislocated left shoulder. He was rushed to Fairbury hospital and was reported to be improving.
