Farmers Union Cooperative divvies patronage at Fairbury meeting
At the annual stockholders meeting in Fairbury last week the Farmers Union Co operative association distributed a patronage dividend of about 4000 among its 100 members. Manager H D Benson reported year end assets and liabilities of 30836 with a gross profit of 11821 84 and expenses 6330 76 leaving a net gain of 5491 08. The dividend fund totaled 2968 31 with interest 959 bringing total allocations to 8927 31. Jon J Carsten and W C Ware were elected directors for three years and R N McCord filled the vacancy from Homer Burds resignation. Other directors include F S Wells president John H Schoenrock William Schoenrock and Manager Benson.
