Womans Club Ends Season With Fall Pause
The Womans Club met at Mrs. R. B. Thompson's home for the last gathering until fall. Plans announce a winter schedule starting September. Readings included Roll Cal and art topics by Mrs. Pfautz and Mrs. F. Clark. The Meri Polo Club met at Mrs. Pauli Hoeft's for a Saturday party celebrating her birthday. The group will reconvene June 30 at the park at 2 30 p m.

Big 4th of July Celebration Planned in Full Swing
July Fourth plans run all day with contests and games for all ages. A noon parade features a children’s reading segment and floats from organizations and businesses. The Plymouth Band provides music, a speaker at 2 pm, a free afternoon picture show, and a community basket dinner followed by an evening dance.

J. T. Palmer of Denver Colorado, brother of W. C. Palmer, died in Denver Saturday morning and was buried in Washington Kansas Wednesday afternoon. Clarks Store bought a new Ford light truck for business use. Crinkian slipped and cracked two teeth while washing ice Wednesday. Mrs. F. W. Lowe and boys returned from vacation Friday noon. Spend the Fourth in Steele City.
