Leonard W Goodrich Dies in Denver at 62
Leonard W. Goodrich a former Fairbury resident and longtime president of the Goodrich banking firm died in Denver after stomach cancer. He was sixty two and survived by two sons Edward Omaha and Fred Los An gele s and a daughter Mrs Catherine Goodrich Wilson Milwaukee. One sister Mrs Sam Allen Fairbury. Body to rest in the Good rich mausoleum in Fairbury cemetery beside his wife.

W H Schmuells longtime First National bank of Fairbury assistant cashier, later with Woods Brothers of Lincoln, died in Beatrice after an appendectomy and subsequent influenza. Survived by wife and several children. A Jefferson county native from Diller, he served as receiver for the defunct Goodrich bank and was well known in Nebraska banking circles.
