Annual School Meeting at the School House
The annual school meeting will be held at the school house next Monday afternoon June 24 at 2 o clock. Four members of the school board are to be elected two to fill vacancies caused by removal and two for terms expiring. One member will serve one year two will serve two years and two will serve three years. The building of a new school house will also be discussed.
Endicott Nine Stuns Steele City Tigers in 13 Innings
A kid nine from Endicott edged Steele City 7 to 6 after 13 innings in a tight contest. Batteries were Endicott Walburn and Allen. Steele City Campbell and Carmichael. On Tuesday Fairbury beat Steele City 9 to 5 with Livingston and Lade for Fairbury and Weddel Earhart Bryant for Steele City.
