Endicott Fourth festivities noted in local briefs

Local notes report 4th of July plans in Endicott with repairs and posters from the Press. Town visitors include John Bugbee Fairbury and several from Washington Kansas. Weather turning cool after a cold snap and farms in Kansas reporting harvest activity and equipment arrivals.

Mr Staley Opens New Cooler Barber Shop Location

Tuesday morning Mr Staley moved his barber shop to a new building east of the post office. The cool well-ventilated space features a north south door and east windows for a fresh draft, good light, and recent repainting. A partition creates a store room for neatness. Steele City boasts such a high quality local barber with service rivaling city shops.
