Remarkable woman in Kentucky endures heat like cold

Danville Kentucky September 23 Mrs Quintilla Earles is said to be the most remarkable woman in the United States. She lives in a house a hundred years old in the Rogers church locality south of the city. Heat affects her as cold does and she sits beside a roaring old fashioned fire with doors and windows closed in sweltering days. She endures zero cold in December and January and travels wrapped in ears head overshoes cloak. She is a devout Rogers church member who opposes open windows in summer yet now wears foot warmers and a heavy cloak to services. She sleeps under two blankets and three comforts and keeps a big fire burning all night.
