Funeral services for Mrs Sallie William at Baptist church
Funeral services for Mrs Sallie William were held at the Baptist church last Sunday at eleven conducted by Rev Mason and Rev Sims. The service drew a large crowd as neighbors gathered. Several local residents and visitors, including Miss Effie Shirley of Harrodsburg and others, spent time with relatives. A weather incident preceded the service with an electrical and hail storm damaging Jerome Colvin’s barn nearby, valued at over 1000 dollars. The community mourns the death of Mr Frank Seay at his Maud area home May 16 and honors him with funeral services led by Rev J A Sims.
