Gladys Pulliam Deacon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will Deacon, died March 31 from pneumonia. The family held her remains at the Rockbridge cemetery. Local activities note visits by Foster, Elmer Keeling, and others, with several community events and a protracted meeting planned at Rockbridge starting Monday night after Palm Sunday.
