Mrs W P Merritt misdosed her two children aged five and two with morphine instead of calomel. Dr Hopper administered antidotes, and both children soon revived. The older received half a grain and the younger a third of a grain. both are now out of danger.
A Warehouse For Glasgow
Glasgow Kentucky April 4. The latest boost in Glasgow boom is the announcement that a sales warehouse is to be erected here. About five million pounds of tobacco are sold here annually and the warehouse is needed. Glasgow will then be the largest tobacco market between Clarksville and Louisville. The warehouse is expected to encourage farmers to join the American Society of Equity, known here as the tobacco pool.

Death of Mrs Laura E Neikirk at Penick Station Kentucky
Mrs Laura E Neikirk died at her daughter Mrs E Y Penick's home at Penick Station Marion County on April 3 1907 after a lifelong service as a Christian and helper. Born July 12 1825 in Hardinsburg Ky she was the daughter of William and Celia Davison and granddaughter of Indian Bill Hardin a famed pioneer. She married Rev William Neikirk in 1847. he died about twelve years ago. Survived by two children Hon W F Neikirk of this place and Mrs E Y Penick of Penick Station the family asks condolence. Funeral at Mayes Chapel conducted by Rev C P Prather with six grandsons as pallbearers.

Grim Hand of Death Touches Pleasant Hill Area
Mr. nort Webb of near Pleasant Hill church in east Marion died of lung trouble after a four month illness at the home of Mr. Todd Keys and was buried at Pleasant Hill church. Maggie Shanks, sixteen, died of lung trouble nearby and was buried in the same cemetery. Tom Hair also died after a long illness and was buried there. Beech Grove sermon spoke of Heaven as a place of eternal joy. A Marion man bought stock hogs, sold them for eight cents each, profit fifty one dollars. Mrs Katie Coyle returns from millinery firm with spring goods to be sold mid month.

Death in Jensonton Claims Mrs Sparrow at Fifty
Mrs Geo W Sparrow of Jensonton died yesterday at 6 am from breast cancer and was laid to rest at Bethlehem. A Beech Grove Baptist member and ardent Christian she leaves husband and five daughters. The funeral sermon was delivered by Rev Pardom and many friends expressed condolence.

Death of Mr Lambert of Mackville
Mr William Lambert of Mackville died in Louisville yesterday afternoon after an operation for gall stones. He had lived in Mackville for years and was well known in the county. The remains were brought home to Mackville for funeral at the Methodist church conducted by Rev Walker with interment in Peter cemetery. He joined the Mackville Methodist church recently. He leaves a wife and five children and the community extends sympathy.
