President Defeats Vice President In Pine Falls Curling Draw

The annual president versus vice-president curling draw in Pine Falls ended with Jackson and his three teammates scoring 63 points to Towler and his rink's 45. The final match saw Towler trail by six points but deliver entertaining play, yet the vice-presidents retained the overall lead.

Jules Gauthier left for Winnipeg on Sunday March 3 to visit his wife undergoing an operation in Misericordia hospital. Warren Sinnock left Sunday March 3 to attend the Veterans school in Winnipeg.
