Dr. W. W. Yates, graduate of a Chicago veterinary college last spring and now based in Somerville Tennessee, has been appointed deputy state veterinarian of Tennessee. He received his commission recently. Yates is the son of Mr and Mrs Charles Yates of Paducah and is well known locally through his family and visits during college days in Chicago.
