Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Parker 55 and her daughter Mrs. Thomas Metcalf 36 were conducted at the Silsbee Assembly of God. The drownings occurred when a car left a bridge on Village Slough Cook's Lake road near Loeb. Burial followed at Resthaven cemetery with Farmer Funeral Home directing. Survivors include spouses children siblings and parents led by Martin Ling and Jake Parker with multiple Loeb residents named.
