Lodgepole deputies investigate two break ins in Lodgepole between 12:30 and 2 a.m. Elmer's Tavern and Kripal Chevrolet Co. were robbed of cigarettes and merchandise totaling about 65 dollars and 53 dollars respectively. One jar of pickled pork hooks was taken from Elmer's. Entry was by pry bar and back window. suspects left by back door. Police chase leads, no public disclosure yet.

Anne Stormberg Dies at 65 in Gering Funeral Today
Anne Marie Stormberg 65 of Gering died early Wednesday at DePaul Hospital Cheyenne after six weeks of hospitalization. She owned a Gering rest home and had been ill several months. Funeral mass was 9:30 a.m. at St Patrick's Church with Rev Vincent Pelster. burial Greenwood Cemetery. Rosary Thursday at 7 p.m. Gehrig and Son arranged. Born March 8, 1897 Howells Neb to Carl and Theresa Stormberg. moved from Howells to Creighton 1917 then Sidney 1930 and to Gering 1950. Survived by two brothers Bernard Kimball George Mariposa Calif. two sisters Rose Shepard Kimball Mary Klasner Norfolk. 17 nieces and 13 nephews. Memorials to St Patrick's Church building fund.
