Dalton 50th Fall Festival Celebrates A Free Ride Parade
The 50th Fall Festival in Dalton drew crowds with free rides by Mana 3S Drilling Co of Potter and a Friday exhibit entry and soup supper. Saturday featured a parade with Mintken-Davison Post American Legion color guard, four high school bands, and prize divisions for floats. Activities included a senior center cafe, Boy Scouts stand, and a night lighted parade with Peetz High School Band. Winners across horseshoe, window displays, and various contests highlighted the celebration. Former festival queens attended, with a procession and introductions by John Heizer.
