Western Nebraska Tech opens Nebraska's first state cosmetology program

The Western Nebraska Technical College cosmetology program in Sidney is hosting an open house on Oct 2 from 1 to 5 pm and will begin fall enrollment on Oct 3. The program offers 2,100 training hours, holds classes for 30 students, and includes a modern clinic for live-model training. Instructors Marie Novell and Floy Stuss lead the first class, with support from Carol Nuss Elrod.
