Lions Light Bulb Sale To Start Today
The Sidney Lions Club will begin a week long light bulb sale canvassing residential areas. Proceeds support the Lions light conservation program including buying glasses. Chuck Willey as chairman says the sale runs for a full week. A pack of eight bulbs costs $2 with two 60 watt two 75 watt and four 100 watt bulbs.

Exon Calls For Ag Policy Overhaul In Nebraska

Science Grant To CSC Funds Sidney Course

Claude Conde Buried Monday
Claude Conde 26 of Iliff died in an accident at Sterling Alfalfa Products Inc last Thursday. He was crushed when a company truck backed into him while he leaned against a post supporting an overhead tank. He died at Logan County Hospital. His widow Mary Lou Arellano and her two children Kristina and Dana now live in Sidney. He was buried Monday in Sterling after services there.
