Lost Boys Safe At Home After Daylong Stray
Two 12 year old boys Edward Pennington and Arthur Hernandez from the Sioux Ordnance Depot wandered about twenty miles Friday evening and Saturday morning before being picked up and returned home. They were hungry and without money but reached home safe, ending a statewide scare sparked by their disappearance from Ordville. The boys, seventh graders at St Patrick's Academy, were found by a passing motorist near Gurley after traveling county roads and sleeping in an old car overnight. Parents were relieved and had feared for their wellbeing.
