Jean Chambers a one year old daughter of Victor Chambers of Sidney reported this week as Cheyenne County sixth polio victim. She was taken to Children's Hospital in Denver last Sunday with partial leg paralysis and fairly good condition. The Chambers family also suffered a recent death when Mrs. Chambers died about ten days ago after a long illness. Iris Coleman ten, and Lila Thomas eighteen, daughters of local families, remained in Scottsbluff Methodist Hospital with varying paralysis butThomas expected to return to Sidney for continued care. Mrs. Albert Keiper and Ralph Robertson of Potter have resumed treatments at home.

The city planning commission and city officials met Tuesday night with Assistant Attorney General Robert Nelson to discuss annexing a portion of the school land at Sidney's west edge.
