Father J J Flood of St Patricks church died Thursday after a four week illness with typhoid fever. Born December 29 1849 in County Cavan Ireland he served in the Oma ha diocese for 25 years and came to Sidney in 1899. Survived by two sisters and two brothers in Ireland and M J Flood of the county. Funeral and interment at St Patricks church and Catholic cemetery set for this morning.

About thirty five trainloads to be fed at Sidney stock yards. Child Dies After Rattlesnake Bite Near Greenwood
Five year old Annie Geiss of Greenwood died after being bitten on the leg by a rattlesnake while walking with her sister near her father in a field. The girl was taken home for emergency care, then to Sidney where she died shortly after arrival. The burial will take place in Sidney's cemetery today.
