Chevrolet to roll out 44 models at Clark Chevrolet

Chevrolet unveils 44 1974 models at Clark Chevrolet Buick with changes to the Chevelle Laguna S-3 and Malibu Classic replacement, plus the Cosworth Vega limited edition. New safety features include a sequential seat belt ignition system. Engine options range from a 140 cubic inch Vega four to a 454 V8, with California emissions adjustments highlighted.

Chevrolet and Buick unveil 1974 model upgrades and new features

GM highlights for 1974 include four-barrel engines across Buick and Chevrolet wagons, standard 400 V8s in big Chevrolets, and two-barrel 400 V8 in Chevelle wagons. Radial tires become standard on Corvette, Monte Carlo, Laguna Type S-3, with options for others. New styling across Chevelle Vega Camaro and Monte Carlo, upgraded bumpers, improved chassis and brakes, full-time four wheel drive on V8 4WDs, larger standard V8s, and options like electronic ignition.
