Nude presidential candidate interrupted by police in San Francisco

Police pulled his blue jeans down as he was approached and escorted him away. Collins said he has been arrested on indecent exposure charges about 18 or 19 times during his one year campaign.

Sidney City Council to hear bids on paving and sewer projects
The Sidney City Council meets Thursday at 7 30 p m in the City Council Chambers. They will review bids to pave 23rd Avenue from Maple to Newton and examine sewer plans near the same area. Bids for tennis court sub base and surface will be discussed. A special Friday session at 8 15 a m will assess objections to paving between 11th Avenue and Highway 19.

Law enforcement seminar gathers Nebraska officers in Sidney
Nearly 30 veteran law enforcement officers from Nebraska attend a two week seminar at the Fort Sidney Motor Hotel. The session began Monday and is run by the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center at Grand Island. Cheyenne County Sheriff Oren Cox said the training provides certification for those who served before current training rules. The sheriff's department and Sidney Police Department organized the seminar.

School board contemplates bond review and planning
