Andy B. Rapp 81 of Cheyenne County died Tuesday at Memorial Hospital after a stroke. Funeral at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Survived by widow Frieda, two sons Emerald and Wayne, two daughters Mildred Wilson and Adeline Howerter, 20 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, four brothers Arthur, Frank, Adolph, Victor, two sisters Hannah Swedberg and Loyd Scott. At the last Kiwanis meeting it was announced that Mr. and Mrs. Sol Willis will be honored at the October 6 gathering as Sidney Chief of Police Sol Willis retires next month. New teachers will be honored later and a membership drive starts soon. A committee will study enlarging the Kiwanis fair booth and report findings. The next Kiwanis meeting is at the Sidney Country Club on Monday September 18.
