Potter Board Plans Bond Election for New School

At the September 1 meeting the Potter Board of Education announced a bond election for a proposed new high and grade school on September 30 1952. Estimates show maximum cost near 38000 including site and furnishings with a 6.9 mill tax average over 20 years. Assessed home value figures determine individual increases, and per pupil day cost is about 15 cents. Architects also estimated costs for separate high school and elementary additions and argued building now saves money over keeping the old structure.
