Dalton Fall Festival to Host 30th Celebration Weekend
Dalton gears up for the 30th annual Fall Festival on Monday and Tuesday September 13 and 17. The gridiron matchup Dalton vs McGrew opens festival events on the 16th, with a 10 am parade on the 17th featuring at least six bands and two more potential units. The afternoon offers horseshoes, street sports, a band concert, and exhibits from 4-H clubs and schools, while the Westernaires of Denver provide evening entertainment.

A small female black dog with a red harness named Peppie went missing from 642 Charlotte Drive on August 23. A $5 reward was offered, with Paul Sprinkle of Victone Cleaners arranging the notice. the finder returned the pet and the Sprinkles are happy.
