Consumers Public Power district argues in a Nebraska Supreme Court brief that one public agency cannot condemn property owned by another public agency, especially when the land is already dedicated to the same public use. The Bridgeport case centers on Consumers’ bid to stop the city from acquiring land once owned by Western Public Service Co. and bought by Consumers in January 1942, prior to a city vote.
