Faytinger Rites Saturday For Local Resident
Funeral services are set for Charles Faytinger 73 at The Craig Mortuary at two o clock Saturday afternoon. Burial will follow in Bohemian Cemetery near Sunol. Faytinger born June 24 1878 in Aby Nebraska came to the Sunol area in 1900 and homesteaded south of town later working as a farm laborer. He had no surviving relatives. His mother and a half brother John Suchy both preceded him in death and are buried in Bohemian Cemetery at Sunol.

Oil Rig Fatality Near Dix Claims Ralph Liebel
An oil worker, Ralph L. Liebel, 38, of Kingman Kansas, was killed early Wednesday on the J L Roberts No 1 rig near Dix when a cave-in caused a heavy iron rod to strike him. Liebel, a roughneck for Olds Oil Company of Casper Wyoming, had been living in Sidney. The accident occurred about 2 am as crews pulled a drill stem. he died within minutes. Remains were taken to The Craig Mortuary Kimball, with relatives to be contacted.
