Daylight saving ends for most of the nation this Sunday
Clocks will be turned back one hour as the United States returns to standard time for the four winter months. The change ends 10 months of daylight saving under a Ford signed plan, with energy savings weighed against public opposition. Indiana, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and American Samoa stay on standard time. Seventy- six Kentucky counties revert from Central to Eastern Time, avoiding a clock change there.
