In Lincoln, 14 farm and commodity groups formed the beginnings of an Agricultural Industries Council at an All Farm Organization Meeting chaired by State Grange Master Albert Ebers. Lodgepole Fire Burns 640 Acres
A pasture fire east of Lodgepole burned about one section of land and scorched some corrals. Harold Her nbloom Jesse Hobson and the Carlson 30 ranch own the affected property. Fire departments from Lodgepole and Chappell fought the blaze for around two hours after it started at about 1 p.m. An investigator cited a burning trash piece blown into the pasture as the likely cause.

Plane Mechanics School Lauded By State Board
The State Aeronautics Commission praised the aviation power plant mechanics course at Western Nebraska Vocational Technical School in Sidney with a rolling start of 25 students.
