Forgery Charge Filed In Court For Five Dollar Check
County Attorney R P Kepler filed a forgery complaint Wednesday against James A Mitchell for forging a five dollar check on Ed Kurth. Sheriff W W Schultz said Mitchell was not in custody but would be taken into custody soon. The check was passed at The Breternitz Bakery on Oct 14. Two other complaints filed with County Judge Robert A Barlow Tuesday involved intoxication. Alex Wurster and Harry Lai are defendants in those cases with Lai charged as a second offender.

State patrol filed complaints this week charging Howard Miner of Indianapolis with passing a vehicle at an intersection and C A Brothers of Dix with failing to signal for a turn after a collision at Potter on highway No 30. Jean and Jane Miller twin sisters studying for their master's in music at the University of Colorado will perform in a duo-piano program at Sidney high school auditorium next Tuesday at eleven in the morning.
