Ohio Oil Co reports Spicknell No. 1 in the West Sidney area yielded over 3.0 million cubic feet of gas per day in the D sand test, with top D sand at 6,615 feet. The well lies two miles southwest of Sidney and near Woods No. 1, potentially the fourth commercial gas producer in the district.
