Cattle Killed In Highway 30 Collision Near Sunol
Two cattle were killed and a car sustained about 300 dollars in damage in a collision on Highway No 30 near Sunol last Saturday night. Driver Ernest Namath said he could not swerve and hit the cattle. One animal died instantly the other was killed after a broken back. Namath wife and children were unharmed. The cattle belonged to Firth Booth who was attempting to corral them back to the pasture.

Lyle Burdick Dies. Sidney Woman Bride of Late Husband

The Keith County News reports a microwave television tower may be built north of Ogallala near the Boat Club to beam signals from east to west.
