Mrs Una Hughes Wesner 80 mother of Mrs J L Tewell died Sunday evening from complications after a fall that caused a fractured hip eight weeks earlier. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 30 at the Presbyterian Church with Rev Howard Osborne officiating. Interment in Sterling Colorado in the family plot. Pallbearers listed. She lived in Sidney with the Tewells, former Logan County Clerk, born Antwerp Ohio December 22 1868, married June 1 1893 in Antwerp. Survived by daughter and two grandchildren, plus sisters in Los Angeles and Denver.

A Sidney mother Mrs Claire Niess and her 13 year old daughter Nancy escaped death after exposure to fumes from a faulty refrigerator Friday.
