City Council Proceedings Sidney Nebraska October 14 1957
The Mayor and City Council met in regular session at 7 30 P M with Mayor Foland and Councilmen Preble and Miller present. Absent were Munderloh and Dorwart. City Manager Fuller City Clerk Tobin and City Attorney Clinton attended. Minutes were read and approved. The following resolution was then presented.

Sidney Nebr Mayor and Council repeal paving district plan
The Mayor and Council find that Ordinance 600 creating Paving Districts 84 and 85 in Sidney was published in The Sidney Telegraph in 1957. Objections show District 84 front footage fails in portions of 15th Avenue Rose Street and Spruce Street, while District 85 fronts fail. Both districts exceed 50 percent objection thresholds, so Ordinance is repealed as to both districts.

Sidney council approves building permits and sewage easement
The Sidney city council moved to approve several building applications including Melvin Lockhard and others, table Sunnyside Court for more specifics, and authorize bids for a ladder truck and a used patrol. A resolution authorized condemnation for a sewage disposal line over parts of Lot 9, Block 2, and Lot 2, Fenske Addition, with city attorney instructed to begin condemnation proceedings. Council adjourned.
