Stolen wins include a Ford roadster tied to James Perkins and a Stude baker touring car owned by George Young. The final Ford roadster from Scottsbluff was found stripped five miles northwest of Sidney. Sheriff McDaniel suspects local involvement in the stripped vehicle while others may be ride seekers.

Purebred Dairy Sire to Geo Kavanaugh in Cheyenne County Trade
George Kavanaugh a farmer near Sidney received a Holstein purebred dairy sire from a Burlington special in exchange for a scrub bull. The eight month old, 2500 pound sire was donated by J. C. George of Hampton Nebr and will be ready for service next spring. Train stops totaled thirty one towns with Sidney the twelfth, as dairy specialists taught the herd-building value of purebred stock. The event drew a large crowd and a 054 attendance, with officials and media on hand from the Nebraska Dairy Development Society and Nebraska State College system for talks on dairy sire points.
