The air star route system planned to replace railway post office cars through Sidney has been postponed for 10 to 15 days. Wichita Region postal official Jack Bittinger said temporary extra surface transport from Omaha and Lincoln would be used to cover the gap caused by RPO closures. Punt Pass Kick Contest Set for Saturday in Sidney

Services were held at Potter Methodist Church for Elmer H. Seyfang age 72 who died Tuesday morning at Memorial Hospital in Potter. Rev. Erwin Kiel and Rev. 4-H Banquet Set For Saturday Evening
The 26th annual 4-H achievement banquet is Saturday October 14 at the National Guard Armory starting 6:30 p.m. Ivan Liljegren will award 72 members and leaders for leadership and club work.
