Resignation of Western Nebraska Technical College President

Dr. Charles D. Michael resigns as president of WNTC and WTCCA effective November 2 after three weeks’ vacation. WTCCA President Gene Lienemann says Michael met board goals on autonomy, accounting, and student enrollment, with Theodore R. Kaklecek to assume duties at WNTC and John Harms to cover area duties until a replacement is found. Michael notes improved programs and endowment work and plans to relocate with family to Wellington Texas.
