Persian Cat Returns Home After Five Weeks

Clayton Parks Dies After Fatal Plunge
Clayton Parks, a Sidney native and World War veteran, died last night from injuries after falling from a 15 foot pole while repairing a floodlight at Lodge Pole filling station. He struck his head on concrete, lapsed into unconsciousness, and died despite X rays and glucose injections. Parks, former American Legion commander, is survived by his wife Lexie, a sister Flornee, two brothers Fred and George, and his mother. Funeral arrangements had not been announced.

Three Winger Sisters Injured in Auto Crash West of Brownson
Louise Julia and Dena Winger, all from California, were injured when their car driven by Louise overturned two miles east of Brownson yesterday at noon. Five men died instantly and three were seriously injured when a helper engine rammed a southbound Burlington passenger train No 302 near Angora Nebraska yesterday afternoon.
